Johnstone's Trade Cleanable Matt Emulsion Paint

Johnstone’s Trade Cleanable Matt Emulsion paint is a tough premium matt emulsion that is designed to extend maintenance cycles thanks to its Easy Clean Technology.  Designed for high traffic areas which require frequent cleaning it helps to prevent stains setting into the paint and makes removing stains and marks easier.  This paint offers 40x more durability than standard emulsions and its Easy Clean Technology is tested to resist tough household stains, both chemical and liquid.  The most common household stains are easy to clean with lukewarm water, a soft cloth and washing up liquid.  The paint will remain matt even after 10,000 scrub cycles.

This paint is suitable for use on interior plasterboard, concrete, cement rendering, brickwork, blockwork and primed wood and metal.

Coverage : 15m² per litre

Dry Time: touch dry in 2 hours. Recoatable after 4 hours.

Preparation:

All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from grease and loose or flaking material.  Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly.  Avoid the inhalation of dust - wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.

Application:

Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.  Stir the paint well before use.  Wear respiratory protection.  Easy to apply by brush, roller or paint pad. Also suitable for application by spray. Seal absorbent surfaces first with a coat of emulsion thinned up to 20% with clean water.  Do not use below 10°c or in damp conditions.

Cleaning:

Remove as much product as possible from brushes, rollers and paint pads before cleaning.  Replace lid firmly.  Clean equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.  Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.  Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
