Thompson's Stain Block Damp Seal 250ml

A high performance seal for sealing and covering damp, water and other household stains in one coat. Micro-porous formulation allows trapped moisture to escape.
Can be applied directly to damp surfaces and permanently stops the reappearance of stains. The one coat formulation allows the surface to be decorated in 4 hours.
Coverage to 7m²/L depending on the porosity of the substrate.
Allow 4 hours between each coat. After the second coat, leave for a further 4 hours before decorating.

Before you start:

* it is important to make sure the cause of damp has been sorted before painting, otherwise it will just come back

* open doors and windows to make sure the room is well ventilated

*remove any wallpaper and get rid of flaking paint with a damp cloth

* fill any cracks or holes if needed

* you can apply this onto damp surfaces, just make sure they're not dripping wet.

Using the Stain Block Damp Seal:

* Give the tin a really good stir

* Apply with a brush or roller, which you prefer

* Apply the painit over the affected area, plus 30cm around it

* Wait 4 hours before applying a second coat

Clean Up with white spirit
